Helping children in an emergency

Pediatric First Aid

Recognizing acute dangers for children and babies and providing first aid in an emergency - (expectant) parents, educators, grandparents and other interested parties learn all this in our special first aid course.
Attending this special training should be as natural as antenatal classes and pregnancy gymnastics.

When children or babies have accidents or fall ill, there are usually adults nearby who are keen to help. At the same time, however, the helpers are often insecure and fear that they will do more harm than good to the young patient by acting incorrectly.
In addition, many people think that first aid measures for children are fundamentally different from those for adults. In reality, however, the differences are often only in the details, because the general principles of first aid apply to everyone, whether young or old.
In our first aid courses specifically for pediatric emergencies, you will learn about the most common dangerous and emergency situations that children and babies can get into. You will find out what measures you should take, what you should pay particular attention to with children and babies and you will also learn how many emergencies can be avoided.
